Congratulations to three Agnes Scott students for being named semifinalists for a prestigious Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship:

Abisola James (Taiwan)
Alice Mawi (Turkey)
Alexis Turek (Taiwan)

All three have been selected from over 9,000 applications nation-wide and their applications will now be vetted by committees in the respective destination countries.

Applying for a Fulbright teaching or research award is an intense but highly rewarding opportunity. Successful Fulbright grantees will join a global network of scholars, researchers, and professionals and will greatly enhance their prospects for graduate school and job applications. Regardless of the outcome, the Fulbright application process is one of the best and most meaningful ways to practice for all kinds of post-college applications.

Current Juniors — Fulbright is for you! The application process starts in April of your junior year, the grant itself starts after your graduation! The next information session will be held on Friday, February 14, 2-3pm in Buttrick Hall G-4. Please e-mail Gundolf Graml ggraml@agnesscott.edu with any questions.
